SAtComm partners travelled to Ferrol in Galicia, Spain on the 26th and 27th of November for a group meeting to discuss the progress and next steps of the project. All partners reported a successful project period with developments seen across each work package. Notably, the regulatory and social science aspects of Energy Communities have been completed enabling the technical design and frameworks for all Pilot sites to progress further.
The project remains on track as the partners discussed the advancement of the specific architectures of each pilot site to suit its own jurisdiction, while the details of how the mechanisms of such can be facilitated within SAtComm’s platform. This key element is enabling the data and driving the strategy for the next phase: algorithm design.
The project Steering team also met to review the project as a whole and to put mechanisms in place to manage and prevent issues throughout the remainder of the project.
