Professor Ricardo Luis Guerrero Lemus from the University of La Laguna, Tenerife and Niall Grant from Walton Institute, SETU paid a visit to the Irish pilot site at the Údarás na Gaeltachta business centre in Dingle on the 2nd July. They are seen inspecting the recently installed SkyImager equipment which is a new innovation developed by the Tenerife based company Energy RIS . The installed equipment will assist in the energy generation forecasting model which will be an integral component of the energy sharing and optimisation platform being developed through the SAtComm project.
SAtComm aims to deploy 5 pilots in the 4 AA jurisdictions to suit the regulation of each respective country, while designing the Energy Management Systems to be flexible to meet the requirements of each.
